Secret societies have been part of the University of Viriginia since 1825. The @Society was founded in 1982 by a group of 5 young students who were hanging out at their local @Cafe. Eager to learn more about computers and dedicated to computer growth, the @Society took hold. We are known for digital pranks, hacking, and increasing access to digital platforms.
We help carry on computing traditions and knowledge since the average person does not know the interworkings of the internet. We are based in popular @Cafes. A few of our favorites include:
